Timekeeping Information Available for Engineering Employees
Engineering employees can now view Timekeeping information reported for them in the "My Calendar" section of the Time Entry Portal (TEP) accessible through ePayroll.
This includes all attendance and absences (Straight Time, Vacation, Holiday, etc) and also Arbitraries (Per Diem, Travel, etc.) This is beneficial for those employees who are not a timekeeper for their gang. Employees now have the ability to view their Timekeeping information, at any time.
This helps ensure Timekeeping accuracy and also eliminates the need for printed Timekeeping reports, commonly called "660s." In the past, access to this information had only been available to Timekeepers in the Legacy GMS system.
Employees also can view their Vacation and Personal Leave entitlements, including their quota for the year, the remaining hours, and the specific dates they have reported Vacation or Personal Leave time.
The Quick Reference Guide, Entitlements and Calendar Basic Navigation can help first time users of the Time Entry Portal.
To view PDF files you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in which is standard on Company computers. If you do not have this plug-in at home, it is available as a free download from the Adobe website. DO NOT install this plug-in or any other vendor software on a UP-owned and supported workstation; instead, please contact your LLA.
