Change in Standard Automobile Mileage Rate

The IRS has announced the standard automobile mileage rate will increase effective Jan. 1, 2015, to reflect changing vehicle and fuel prices. The revised reimbursement rate will be 57.5 cents per mile, up from 56 cents per mile in 2014. This does not affect mileage rates that are otherwise negotiated in Collective Bargaining Agreements.
