4th of July Holiday Observance for Maintenance of Way Employees

This year the 4th of July Holiday will fall on a Saturday. Therefore, there is not a reduction in work hours for employees scheduled to work Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday or an alternative work week, such as 4/10s, T1, or T2. Employees will work their regularly scheduled work week. However, they will receive eight (8) hours of holiday pay in addition to all regularly scheduled hours.

Employees who observe a Tuesday through Saturday (5/8s) or Wednesday through Saturday (4/10s) schedule will have a reduction in work hours, as Saturday is a regularly scheduled work day. They will work Tuesday through Friday and observe the holiday on Saturday.
