Gangs assigned to a compressed schedule should reduce their schedule work hours to 80 and receive 8 hours of holiday pay. Below is a sample schedule. Per the agreement the holiday is to be observed at the end of the work half, unless agreed by management and employees to observe it at the beginning of the half. Though the hours can be worked in 7 days, it would also be acceptable under the agreement to work 8-10 hours and observe the holiday on the 9th day.
