Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)
The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a a free service provided by the U.S. State Department, Bureau of Consular Affairs, which allows U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
