2017 Earned Vacation Program - For Certain Mechanical Employees Resigning by January 2016
Six Mechanical Crafts Sign Agreements
Agreements were reached with six non-operating crafts to give 2016 work day credits for 2017 vacation to employees who agree to resign from service by January 5, 2016. Eligible employees must make application for consideration by close of business on November 16, 2015. The 2017 Earned Vacation Program Form can be found on the LR Connection web site, on the right hand navigation under "Programs". The company does reserve the right to decline an application for participation in the program, due to workforce needs. Applicants will be notified whether their resignation is accepted by November 23, 2015.
To be eligible for this program, an employee must be actively working in the specified craft and remain in active status up to his or her termination date. The signatory crafts for this program are as follows:
- ARASA (Foremen, Mechanical only)
- IAM (Machinists)
- IBEW (Electricians)
- IBBB (Boilermakers)
- NCF&O (Mechanical Service Operators)
- SMART-MD (Sheet Metal Workers)
